WEDDING DAY POKER FAQ

Q. Poker Scratch Off concept

A. Each Poker Scratch Off product line (Birdie Bogey, Football Party, Wedding Day, etc.) includes a list of 15 "events" that could take place during a particular game or occasion. These 15 “events” are randomly generated from a master list of 30 and printed above a corresponding scratch off area. Each scratch off area reveals a computer generated playing card and suit. As a game or occasion unfolds, players follow the game or occasion and scratch off their corresponding "events" as they occur revealing their best 5 card poker hand. Each card is completely unique with no repeating playing cards and each card is 100% verifiable.

Q. How much do you charge per card?

A. Prices are usually determined by the bride and groom, but the recommended price per card is $5 for occasions where the pot is split 50/50 (half going to bride and groom and half going to a lucky winner). Cards can also be provided no charge as party favors (Ex: free beverages for a full house, a $25 gift card for four of a kind, etc.). See our product’s disclaimer for more information.

Q. How will they know how to play?

A. Game rules are on the back of each game card. Wedding Day Poker is a simple and fun game that can be played by people of all ages. As the wedding unfolds players scratch the reveals that coincide with the “events” that appear on their cards. As the day/night unfolds, players scratch the reveals to build their best 5 card poker hand. Make sure players know where to report winning hands and designate an official hand reporting deadline (ex. 11pm). Players may also use the QR code on the back of each card to direct them to the rules and FAQ page on the Poker Scratch Off web page.

Q. How do you know who wins?

A. Its pretty simple…Whoever has the best 5-card poker hand.  Simply look at the 5 “events” that correspond to their poker hand. If the 5 events did indeed happen, then that hand is considered “valid”.  If there is an “event” that was scratched and DID NOT happen, then that hand is not considered valid and the process repeats until a winner is determined.

Q. Who can use Wedding Day Poker?

A. This fun new scratch off game can be used for ANY wedding. Regardless of the size and style of the wedding, Wedding Day Poker can work for any wedding reception. Whether you need just 25 cards or 25,000, Poker Scratch Offs has what you need.

Q. What can Wedding Day Poker be used for?

A. Wedding Day Poker is a fun, interactive scratch off game that plays off the bride and groom’s wedding. As the wedding unfolds, players scratch their events to make their best 5 card poker hand. Wedding Day Poker can be a great way to entertain guests. And let’s not forget, it’s a great way to raise money for the bride and the groom.

Q. What if they scratch off all the reveals by accident?

A. Reveals that are scratched incorrectly can be invalidated but event coordinators have the final decision. Usually, that card is deemed invalid and would not win.

Q. What do you do in the case of a tie?

A. Just like in real poker, ties do happen. However, depending on the amount of cards being played, the odds of a tie with Wedding Day Poker are very rare. If there is a tie, ½ the pot goes to the bride and groom and the other ½ is split between the two that tied. Ultimately, ties can be decided by the event coordinator to prevent any conflicts.

Q. Can players cheat?

A. Players cannot cheat and cards are 100% verifiable. (See: “How do you know who wins?” for more info on invalidating cards)
